5 Reasons You Need to Attend DistillerSR Week 2020

One of our goals for this year was to create a user conference for DistillerSR users to come together, learn from the community, and network. Of course, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those plans had to change. Instead, we decided to take our user conference idea online and create our first ever virtual user conference: DistillerSR Week 2020.

DistillerSR Week-1

If you’re a DistillerSR user, this virtual conference is for you! We have so many exciting sessions planned and will cover a wide range of topics that are important to the research community. We’ve lined up industry thought leaders and our very own software experts to share best practices and insights that will help improve your research, challenge your existing ideas, and bring together a community of professionals with one thing in common -- they all use DistillerSR!

Intrigued? Here are 5 reasons why you need to attend DistillerSR Week 2020:

1-Get an up close look groundbreaking applications for AI

Before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, we were already working on advanced artificial intelligence technology to help speed up time-consuming and mechanistic systematic review tasks. However, once the global impact of COVID-19 became clear, we were able to truly see the benefit of AI for speeding up the systematic review process. We made the next generation of DistillerSR available to COVID-19 researchers for free so they could use its advanced AI features to speed up their critical work. At DistillerSR Week 2020, we will share what we discovered about AI and systematic reviews through these initiatives, what the future of systematic reviews looks like in the age of AI, and why we think the application of AI has the potential to turn the process on its head.

2-Learn from the community

We reached out to our network in evidence-based research to join us for panel discussions, presentations, and Q+A’s. The all-star speaker lineup includes Chris Waters-Banker, Research Lead at Medlior, Dona Occhipinti, Founder and Principal Consultant at MedSmart LLC, Laurie Mitchell, President, Criterion Edge, and many more!

3-Get to know DistillerSR on a deeper level

Sure, you use DistillerSR every day, but do you know how to really use it? With the newest release of DistillerSR fresh in our minds, we’re taking you through everything new as well as some lesser-known-yet-massively-helpful features that can help further streamline your systematic review processes. We’re also going to be talking about what’s next and taking your feedback on what you’d like to see in the software. Have your say in the future of DistillerSR!

4-Hear from other DistillerSR users

There’s power in numbers. With a vibrant, active user community of research professionals from around the world, we know the ways you are using DistillerSR are endless! Panel discussions at DistillerSR Week will also include real-life DistillerSR users who will share ideas, best practices, and tips for maximizing the use of DistillerSR in real research scenarios.

5-Early bird pricing!

Register for DistillerSR Week 2020 before May 22 and you will get the early bird price of $49 along with a free t-shirt and 50% off any one of our certification exams (some limitations apply).
